Pool Policies and Rules

Our formal Admissions Policies and Poolside Rules can be viewed by clicking the duckling link buttons at the bottom of this page, but Heckington Community Swimming Pool Committee have also drawn up the following summary list of attitude and behaviour expectations for all people who attend the pool, either as swimmers or spectators. These are aimed at ensuring the safety, wellbeing and safe enjoyment of our pool and hope you find this useful in guiding pool users.

Attitude and Behaviour expectations:

• Long hair to be safely tied up – boys and girls!
• No poolside running
• No jumping in
• No pushing
• no throwing anything – toys, objects from side or from in the pool
• no ‘slapping’ with woggles or floats
• no sitting on shoulders in pool
• no inflatables or pool toys for community swim sessions
• Inflatables and toys at the discretion of the duty staff for private hires
• no eating at pool side or in pool – restrict to marquee or other area away from poolside
• Jewellery restrictions – no hoop earrings, necklaces or bracelets to be worn.
• No littering
• Private hire bookings to take rubbish away from site at the end of their party.

Many thanks for taking the time to review and take on board these expectations.
